I saved the best for last. What could be a better celebration of the proverbial Christmas Spirit than expressing one's desire for an end to war through music? Here John Lennon does it so very well. Chances are you're already familiar with the song, so there's no point in my going on about it.
So ends my inaugural Musical Advent Calendar. Many thanks once more to writer extraordinaire Andy Ihnatko for inspiring me to create this in the first place. It has been a lot of fun, and I hope to foist another batch of 25 great holiday songs upon you next year!
