I am absolutely chomping at the proverbial bit to get started tonight! It’s closing weekend for Bat Boy. Yet despite three fantastic weekends’ worth of shows (followed by a weekend off), it feels like opening night. I have the same butterflies and energy that I have before any first performance. Maybe it’s the time off. It has been nearly two weeks since we performed. We had a brush-up on Wednesday that was loose and felt great, despite a small brain fart of mine. Am I nervous about that or just excited to get back to it?
Whatever the case, I am eager as hell to get started tonight. How long until 8:00?
